Curriculum

The core curriculum for the basic course concentrates on the dog and horse.  The IAVC offers the student a thorough review of anatomy, neurology, biomechanics, relevant pathology, physiology, ethics, philosophy and legalities associated with animal chiropractic combined with hours of hands on laboratory instruction in specific examination and adjusting techniques, topography, motion palpation, dissection, safety and handling, the course provides the skill for the participants to apply this knowledge.

Some of the topics outlined below obviously represent a review for chiropractors and others a review for veterinarians. This form of review, especially being up to date and in the veterinary chiropractic context is well utilized and appreciated by course participants.
